Integration with your EHR and calendar
We connect to the interface or export of Intramed, Abakus or James. The appointment, session and billable service are recorded only once.
EHR software for occupational therapy records the client’s request for help, the treatment plan, observations from home visits and the reports to the referrer or municipality for each client. Kantex builds around the EHR of an occupational therapy practice: integrations with calendar and claims, draft reports after a visit and prepared reports for aids and home adaptations.

Occupational therapy often takes place at the client’s home or workplace. Observations are noted on the go and written up later, and advice on an aid or a home adaptation requires a report for the municipality or the insurer. Travel time and reporting time compete for the same hours.
Observations sit in notes on a phone or on paper and are retyped into the record back at the practice.
Advice on an aid or an adaptation requires a report in a specific format, using details that are already in the record.
On-site appointments need a route and travel time, which are tracked in a separate calendar.
This is what we build first, around the record system you already use.
We connect to the interface or export of Intramed, Abakus or James. The appointment, session and billable service are recorded only once.
After a home visit, the occupational therapist dictates a short note. It is ready as a draft in the structure of the record, including a first version of the report to the referrer or municipality.
Known client details, the request for help and the observations are filled in ahead of time in the format the municipality or insurer requires. The occupational therapist checks and completes them.
On-site appointments are scheduled with travel time and order, and changes are sent to the client automatically.
No big project up front: one working part first, then expand based on what it delivers.
How we workIn a free 30-minute introductory call we walk through an ordinary day in your practice: which package you use, what it opens up to other software and which part of the paperwork takes the most time.
We start with one part, such as an integration with your calendar or a draft report after each session, and get that working before we build further.
After go-live we stay responsible for updates and for monitoring integrations and incidents, with agreed response times.

Yes. The recording is stored on the device and processed as soon as there is a connection again. The draft is then ready at the practice. Recordings are deleted after processing and are not used for anything else.
No. AI turns a dictated or briefly typed note into a draft in the format of your record. The clinician reads it, edits it and saves it. That way the professional stays responsible for what is in the record, and it remains visible who approved which text.
A first step, such as an integration between your records and your calendar or a draft report after each session, is up and running within a few weeks. The cost depends on the number of systems involved and on what your software vendor allows. After the introductory call you receive a defined scope, the expected lead time and the cost of support afterwards.
Health data falls under the strictest category of the GDPR (AVG in Dutch), and information security in Dutch healthcare follows NEN 7510, the national standard for it. Before we start, we record which data an application needs, where it is stored, who can access it and how that access is logged. Data stays within the EU, and AI only produces drafts that the clinician checks before anything goes into the record.
