Integration with your EHR and calendar
We connect to the interface or export of Intramed, Abakus or James, so the appointment, session and billable service are recorded only once.
EHR software for speech therapy records the assessment, treatment plan, session notes and reports to the referrer, school or parents for each client. Kantex builds around the EHR of a speech therapy practice: integrations with calendar and claims, draft reports after each session and prepared reports for everyone who needs to be kept informed.

A speech therapist reports not only in the record, but also to the GP or paediatrician, to school and to parents. The same session produces three texts. On top of that come the claims per insurer, the authorisation for longer courses of treatment and scheduling around school hours.
The note in the record, the letter to the referrer and the update for school or parents largely contain the same information, but are written separately.
Sessions take place at the practice, at school or at home. Rescheduling appointments and informing parents happens by phone and messaging app.
Longer courses of treatment need an authorisation, and each insurer has its own rules. Keeping track of that happens outside the record.
This is what we build first, around the record system you already use.
We connect to the interface or export of Intramed, Abakus or James, so the appointment, session and billable service are recorded only once.
From a short dictated or typed note, the record entry and a first version of the letter to the referrer or school are drafted. The speech therapist checks and sends them.
Confirmations, reminders and updates go out automatically by email or text message, including the location of the session.
Every day the system checks which courses of treatment are nearing an authorisation limit or reaching a treatment maximum, before claims go out.
No big project up front: one working part first, then expand based on what it delivers.
How we workIn a free 30-minute introductory call we walk through an ordinary day in your practice: which package you use, what it opens up to other software and which part of the paperwork takes the most time.
We start with one part, such as an integration with your calendar or a draft report after each session, and get that working before we build further.
After go-live we stay responsible for updates and for monitoring integrations and incidents, with agreed response times.
Can’t find your question? Email sales@kantex.nl and we will reply within one working day.
Yes. The location is part of the appointment and is included in reminders and in the report. A speech therapist can dictate a short note on the way, which is ready as a draft on return to the practice.
No. AI turns a dictated or briefly typed note into a draft in the format of your record. The clinician reads it, edits it and saves it. That way the professional stays responsible for what is in the record, and it remains visible who approved which text.
A first step, such as an integration between your records and your calendar or a draft report after each session, is up and running within a few weeks. The cost depends on the number of systems involved and on what your software vendor allows. After the introductory call you receive a defined scope, the expected lead time and the cost of support afterwards.
Health data falls under the strictest category of the GDPR (AVG in Dutch), and information security in Dutch healthcare follows NEN 7510, the national standard for it. Before we start, we record which data an application needs, where it is stored, who can access it and how that access is logged. Data stays within the EU, and AI only produces drafts that the clinician checks before anything goes into the record.
