Integration with your EHR, calendar and claims
We connect to the interface of Medicore or Praktijkdata, or to the export. An appointment becomes a consultation in the record and a billable service in the claim.
EHR software for mental health care (GGZ in Dutch) records the intake, treatment plan, session notes, ROM measurements and the registration of each consultation for every client. Kantex builds around the EHR of a mental health practice or institution: integrations with calendar and claims, registration under the care service model (zorgprestatiemodel) and draft reports the clinician checks, with the security that mental health data requires.

In Dutch mental health care, every consultation comes with registration: the billable service under the care service model, the care demand classification (zorgvraagtypering), the routine outcome monitoring (ROM) measurement at the right moment and the session note. Waiting lists and referrals through Zorgdomein, the Dutch referral platform, need attention as well. Clinicians would rather spend that time on clients.
Every consultation needs a billable service with the right professional category, setting and duration. Whatever is not recorded straight away has to be reconstructed afterwards.
Measurements belong at intake, midway and at discharge. Whoever tracks which client still needs which measurement often does so in a separate list.
Referrals arrive through Zorgdomein, the waiting list lives in a spreadsheet and the intake is planned in the calendar. Meanwhile the client is waiting to hear back.
This is what we build first, around the record system you already use.
We connect to the interface of Medicore or Praktijkdata, or to the export. An appointment becomes a consultation in the record and a billable service in the claim.
Every day the system checks which client is missing a measurement, a classification or a report. The clinician sees one list instead of a spreadsheet.
A short spoken or typed note is worked up into a draft in the structure of your record. The clinician reads and approves it; nothing goes into the record automatically.
Referrals land on a waiting list with a status and an expected waiting time. The client automatically receives a message on receipt and when the intake is scheduled.
No big project up front: one working part first, then expand based on what it delivers.
How we workIn a free 30-minute introductory call we walk through an ordinary day in your practice: which package you use, what it opens up to other software and which part of the paperwork takes the most time.
We start with one part, such as an integration with your calendar or a draft report after each session, and get that working before we build further.
After go-live we stay responsible for updates and for monitoring integrations and incidents, with agreed response times.
Can’t find your question? Email sales@kantex.nl and we will reply within one working day.
Yes. For an independent practice it usually starts with the integration between calendar, record and claims. For an institution, roles, teams and per-department overviews are added. The approach is the same: one working part first, then expand.
Mental health data calls for minimal data sharing. An application only receives the fields it needs, access is set up per role and logged, data stays in the EU and AI works exclusively with drafts the clinician checks. We agree on this in advance with your organisation’s data protection officer or information security officer.
No. AI turns a dictated or briefly typed note into a draft in the format of your record. The clinician reads it, edits it and saves it. That way the professional stays responsible for what is in the record, and it remains visible who approved which text.
A first step, such as an integration between your records and your calendar or a draft report after each session, is up and running within a few weeks. The cost depends on the number of systems involved and on what your software vendor allows. After the introductory call you receive a defined scope, the expected lead time and the cost of support afterwards.
Health data falls under the strictest category of the GDPR (AVG in Dutch), and information security in Dutch healthcare follows NEN 7510, the national standard for it. Before we start, we record which data an application needs, where it is stored, who can access it and how that access is logged. Data stays within the EU, and AI only produces drafts that the clinician checks before anything goes into the record.
