What is client record software?
Client record software is the system in which a practice records the intake, treatment plan, reports, appointments and claims for each client. In Dutch primary care it is usually called an EPD (electronic patient record), in long-term care an ECD (electronic client record) and in general practice an HIS (GP information system).
Do we have to replace our current record system?
Usually not. Most of the gain lies in what happens around the record: double entry in the calendar and claims, manual checks and reports written after closing time. We first look at what your current package opens up and build around it. We only discuss replacing it if integration is not possible or the package genuinely does not fit.
What does it cost?
A first step, such as an integration between your records and your calendar or a draft report after each session, is up and running within a few weeks. The cost depends on the number of systems involved and on what your software vendor allows. After the introductory call you receive a defined scope, the expected lead time and the cost of support afterwards.
Does AI write the report into the record by itself?
No. AI turns a dictated or briefly typed note into a draft in the format of your record. The clinician reads it, edits it and saves it. That way the professional stays responsible for what is in the record, and it remains visible who approved which text.
How does Kantex handle health data?
Health data falls under the strictest category of the GDPR (AVG in Dutch), and information security in Dutch healthcare follows NEN 7510, the national standard for it. Before we start, we record which data an application needs, where it is stored, who can access it and how that access is logged. Data stays within the EU, and AI only produces drafts that the clinician checks before anything goes into the record.
